Talking about Hoi An city (Quang Nam province), people can’t help mentioning Banh Dap- a dish of steamed and baked rice papers, and mussels fried without water.

Rice paper is made from delicious rice. It is made very thin. Baked papers are the steamed ones dried under the sun and baked in the charcoal-burners.  The steamed rice papers are only made when being eaten.

Mussels are fried without water after being hard-boiled. To make fried mussels delicious, some spices such as peanuts, onions, satay, sesame and fragrant vegetable are added into the dish.
