WMC Group will be marking Earth Hour on March 30 with a number of events at its hotels and restaurants.
All exterior lights at The Reverie Saigon will be switched off from 8:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. while its lobby area will be dimmed to a minimum. Café Cardinal and The Spa will be lit by candles only.
Meanwhile, the Windsor Plaza Hotel, Sherwood Residence and Sherwood Suites will turn off their decoration lights and exterior signboards, and use candles in their lobbies and restaurants. Sherwood Suites will offer 60% off for all classic cocktails during the earth hour at Lobby Bar.
Finally, Vietnam House fine-dining restaurant will dim to a minimum all its outside lighting.
Earth Hour is a worldwide movement organized by the World Wide Fund for Nature. It has been described as the largest world grassroots movement for the environment, with the involvement of around 7,000 cities in 172 countries and territories so far.
