The programme, entitled “The linkage – the power of Vietnamese tourism”, has an important significance in linking the tourism associations in the localities with the State management agencies and business community in the sector.

The programme marked the linkage of a stimulus alliance between the five tourism associations of Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang, Nha Trang (Khanh Hoa Province), Ha Giang and Phu Yen as well as tourism promotion centres of many other provinces and cities nationwide.

Through their signing of agreements, the tourism associations from the above localities will enhance their cohesion and cooperation to develop tourism and create attractive products to overcome all difficulties due to Covid-19 pandemic.

Speaking at the event, Vice Chairwoman of Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Association, Nguyen Thi Khanh, said that the programme will connect travel businesses of three regions in the country to implement the comprehensive cooperation and tourism stimulation.

The associations will support tourism businesses and tour operators in promoting destinations and new products to attract more visitors, she added.

In addition, the participants will help the localities to take full their advantages and seek solutions to remove difficulties and shortcomings in building effective tours and products in line with market trends.
