(TITC) - On April 4, in Ninh Binh Province, Vietnam National Administration of Tourism (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) and Ninh Binh’s People Committee co-organized press conference on Visit Viet Nam Year 2021 – Hoa Lu, Ninh Binh.

Delivering opening speech at the conference, VNAT’s Chairman Nguyen Trung Khanh appreciated Ninh Binh Province’s long history, unique cultural traditions and valuable attractions such as Trang An Scenic Landscape, Bai Dinh Pagoda, Hoa Lu Ancient Capital, Phat Diem Stone Cathedral, Van Long Wetland Area, Cuc Phuong National Park…, in which, Trang An Landscape Complex was recognized by UNESCO as the World Natural and Cultural Heritage. These are great advantages for Ninh Binh to become a bright tourism destination and being honored by many international tourism organizations and specialists.
In order to promote the role of Ninh Binh tourism in linking and creating a driving force for the Northern region, the province is chosen by the Government to host the Visit Viet Nam Year 2021 with the theme "Hoa Lu – thousand-year Ancient Capital".
At the press conference, the Organizing Committee informed that Visit Viet Nam Year 2021 will take place in many provinces/cities nationwide. Ninh Binh will be home of 38 activities (including 11 key activities and 27 other activities). The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism will organize 4 activities. In response to the Visit Viet Nam Year 2021, 104 events will be held in 27 provinces/cities including Hanoi, Hai Phong, Quang Ninh, Ha Nam, Nam Dinh, Thai Binh, Hai Duong, Hung Yen, Bac Ninh, Bac Giang, Hoa Binh, Tuyen Quang, Lang Son, Yen Bai, Lao Cai, Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Thua Thien Hue, Da Nang, Quang Nam, Ho Chi Minh City, Khanh Hoa, Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Lam Dong, Can Tho, Ca Mau.
The opening ceremony is scheduled to take place at 20:00 on April 20, 2021 at Hoa Lu Ancient Capital, Truong Yen Commune, Hoa Lu District, Ninh Binh Province.
