(TITC) – In November 2023, Vietnam welcomed over 1.23 million international visitor arrivals, an increase of 11% compared to the previous month. The total number of international visitors reached over 11.2 million in 11 months of 2023.

Korea continues to be the largest source market in 11 months of 2023 with 3.2 million arrivals (accounting for 28.5%). China ranked second, reaching 1.5 million arrivals. Next is Taiwan (3rd) with 758 thousand arrivals, America (4th) with 658 thousand arrivals, and Japan (5th) with 527 thousand arrivals.
The next positions in the top source markets include ones from Southeast Asia: Thailand (442 thousand arrivals); Malaysia (419 thousand); Cambodia (359 thousand). The Australian market ranked 9th (353 thousand arrivals), India ranked 10th (352 thousand arrivals).
England (232 thousand arrivals), France (195 thousand) and Germany (182 thousand) are still Vietnam's largest source markets from Europe.

Visa-free European markets grew strongly
In November 2023, markets from Europe have the best growth rate among the continents, up 58.5% compared to October 2023. Including the contribution of markets on the list of unilateral visa exemption policies with temporary stay duration of up to 45 days according to Resolution 128/NQ-CP effective from 15th August 2023 such as: England (+36.6%), France (+72.5%), Germany (+36.1%), Italy (+55.1%), Russia (+41.8%), Denmark (+32 .9%), Sweden (+84.8%), Norway (+52.7%), Finland (+30.2%), and Spain (+15.5%).
Meanwhile, the number of Chinese visitors continues to maintain growth momentum (+9.6%); Japanese arrivals increased slightly (+7.7%); The US market grew well (+18.7%). Southeast Asia markets grew positively: Thailand (+23.1%), Malaysia (+21.4%), Singapore (+18.2%), Philippines (+28.1%), Indonesia (+10.8%).
