On 25th April, 2012 at the head quarter of the VNAT, Green Apple Center (Community Services VIG Co. Ltd) introduced “Xanh Xanh (Green) Viet Nam clip” contest in order to raise youth people’s awareness in sustainable tourism development.
VIG was established from a project aiming to develop young, dynamic and creative community as well as look for chances to turn ideas into reality. Green Apple Center is a non-profit project focusing on sustainable development and green economy orientation.
In the framework of the contest “Green economy ideas clip”, “Xanh Xanh Viet Nam clip” will focus on supporting and encouraging Viet Nam students to join in community tourism activities and to take advantages of communication technologies and social networks… to promote Viet Nam tourism’s image.
According to representatives of the Viet Nam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT), “Xanh Xanh Viet Nam clip” contest is a chance to advertise Viet Nam’s beauty and to raise people awareness of sustainable and community tourism.
At the meeting, Head of Tourism Marketing Department (VNAT) Mr. Le Tuan Anh said the Department will coordinate with Green Apple Center to organize the contest and VNAT’s Tourism Information Technology Center will be the information promotional umbrella.
In addition, the VNAT also suggested the organization board should have strict control measures over the contest to achieve the best results.
