(TITC) - To prepare for the resuming tourism activities in Ha Noi when the Covid-19 pandemic is under control, the Hanoi Travel Association and the VGreen Sustainable Tourism Club coordinate with localities to develop tourism products suitable to the new situation, ready to serve visitors as soon as allowed.
Hanoitourist Company informed that the company has built 5 types of tourism products to offer tourists when the pandemic is repulsed. The products include safe homestays, safe hotels, safe caravans, safe autumn tours, and safe MICE service.

In particular, the highlight is the caravan tour to Duong Lam Ancient Village. A series of autumn tours are designed to discover and experience the special features of autumn in Ha Noi as well as in many Northern provinces. A notable tourism product to Ha Noi that will be launched is the Indochina architecture discovery tour for visitors who like to explore the ancient French architectures in Ha Noi's Old Quarter area with a route from the Vietnam National Museum of History – Ha Noi Opera House - Historical relic site of the Northern Revolution (Bac Bo Phu).
Besides the tours for Ha Noi, travel agencies continue to organise the caravan tours that have been implemented since 2020 to explore the Northwest, Hung Temple (Phu Tho Province), Nam Dinh Province and some new caravan tours to discover Hoa Lu Ancient Capital (Ninh Binh Province), Sa Pa (Lao Cai Province), Binh Lieu, Quang Hanh (Quang Ninh Province), Hoang Su Phi (Ha Giang Province).... To ensure safety, the tours will be organized in small groups, by private transport means, short trips, mainly 3 days and 2 nights.
Deputy Director of Ha Noi Department of Tourism, Mr. Tran Trung Hieu evaluated that Ha Noi’s travel agencies are ready to launch tourism activities, and in response to the World Tourism Day with the theme "Tourism for Inclusive Growth". In order for tourism operations to be effective and safe, it is necessary to closely coordinate between the service providers, destinations, authorities, agencies, and related associations. In 2020, a series of tourism products connecting Ha Noi with other provinces such as Quang Ninh, Hoa Binh, Lai Chau, Dien Bien, Phu Tho have been implemented, there were also safety criteria in tourism activities. However, with the complicated development of the Covid-19 pandemic, the activities for tourism recovery have to be prepared carefully to suit the situations.
Green tourism products, safe travel routes, safe accommodations, safe entertainment, and safe visitors need to be implemented in a proper and methodical manner. The organisations and destinations do not ensure safe conditions to prevent and control the Covid-19 pandemic, they will not be allowed to operate, emphasized Mr. Tran Trung Hieu.
According to the Ha Noi Department of Tourism, the department has developed a tourism recovery scenario suitable to the new situation. When the conditions allowed, the department will deploy the connection of “green tourist spots” with the participation of “green travel businesses” to carry out “green travel journeys” for tourists who meet the requirements of vaccination and Covid-19 testing.
