The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in coordination with the People’s Committee of the central province of Nghe An organised a launch ceremony in Nghe An on March 14 for the 2022 working theme of the culture, sports and tourism sector, with a focus on building a grassroots cultural environment and personnel organisation.

Addressing the ceremony, Member of the Party Central Committee and Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Van Hung emphasised that the building of a grassroots cultural environment and personnel organisation aims to concretise the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress and the Conclusion at the National Cultural Conference organised by the Politburo in order to revive and develop Vietnamese culture.
It is a very important task for the sector, because in order to build and develop culture, first of all, there must be cultural people, and human perfection needs and can only be accomplished in culture and by culture, he noted.

In his speech, Politburo member and Permanent member of the Party Central Committee's Secretariat Vo Van Thuong underscored that the cultural environment is where the core values-elements of the national identity are formed, preserved and promoted, making an important contribution to the country’s attractiveness and soft power in the international arena.
The 13th National Party Congress determined that there must be mechanisms, policies and solutions to build a truly clean and healthy cultural environment and improve the people’s conditions for cultural enjoyment with a focus on building a healthy, democratic, united and compassionate office culture environment, he added.
Previously, Politburo member and Permanent member of the Secretariat Vo Van Thuong and the working delegation offered flowers and incense to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh at the President Ho Chi Minh Memorial Special National Relic Site in Kim Lien Village, Nam Dan, Nghe An, and offered incense at the Vietnam – Laos International Martyrs' Cemetery in Anh Son District, Nghe An Province.
