Mr. Doan Van Viet, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism (MOCST); Mr. Nguyen Trung Khanh, Chairman of Vietnam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT); Mr. Nikorndej Balankura, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Thailand to Vietnam; Mr. Vu The Binh, Chairman of Vietnam Tourism Association and representatives of travel and tourism businesses… attended the ceremony.

Giving his remarks at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Quoc Ky - Chairman of Vietravel said, Vietravel Airlines was born in a situation of many fluctuations, but thankfully, the airline has received many attention and support from state management agencies, customers, and the media, thereby gradually overcoming difficulties, recovering and developing as now.
Vietravel Airlines has officially opened the sale of air tickets to Thailand. With each flight with Vietravel Airlines, the airline wishes to bring tourists comfort, safety and a journey to experience the culture, tourism, and customs of each locality. Mr. Nguyen Quoc Ky raises the hope to soon operate the flight route connecting Ho Chi Minh City and Bangkok and other flights, giving a shoulder to promote the development of tourism and aviation industry.

Congratulating for the new international flight of Vietravel Airlines, Mr. Nikorndej Balankura, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Thailand to Vietnam said, Vietravel Airlines' participation with the route to Thailand is not only good news for Vietnamese people but also for all Thai people who love Vietnam, because another choice has been added to their preference in moving between the two countries with appropriate cost. He hopes that in the near future, the airline will expand its flight network connecting many major tourist cities of Vietnam and Thailand, contributing to promoting cultural exchanges and developing tourism potentials of the two countries.

According to Vietravel Airlines, on 16th December, Flight number VU137, from Ha Noi - Bangkok takes off from Noi Bai International Airport, officially operating the first international regular commercial route of Vietravel Airlines, connecting Vietnam - Thailand; This is an important milestone in the company's expansion into international airspace.
Vietravel Airlines operates the route Ha Noi - Bangkok - Ha Noi with a frequency of 01 round-trip flight/day by a fleet of modern narrow-body aircraft A321, the golden flight time frame departs from 11:55 am, suitable for diverse demands from tourism, business trips to retails and shopping. On every flight, the airlines will offer various services such as the aerial narrator who introduces the beautiful scenery, culture and cuisine of the two countries, serves water and snacks with local flavours, an aerial entertainment system and a travel magazine that updates information and latest travel experience.
