(TITC) - Many activities have been planned to take place to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park being recognized by UNESCO as a World Natural Heritage.
Thereby, Quang Binh Provincial People’s Committee has planned to organise activities to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park being recognized by UNESCO as a World Natural Heritage (5th July 2003 - 5th July 2023).
The Quang Binh Provincial Department of Culture and Sports announced at periodic press conference in June, through the organisation of commemorative activities to propagate and promote the values of the World Natural Heritage Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park, at the same time, enhance the position and brand of Quang Binh Tourism in the country and abroad; raising awareness of people about the value, position and importance of the World Natural Heritage Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park for the province's socio-economic development, thereby having a sense of responsibility in the preservation, conservation and promotion of the values of the Heritage.

Additionally, there are variety activities that will be held on the sidelines of the main event, such as International Scientific Conference on World Natural Heritage Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park with the theme "Promoting World Heritage values Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park in the trend of integration and sustainable development" on 1st July 2023; "Ao Dai - Going to Quang Binh's heritage region" Show combined with the art programme for celebrating (29th June 2023); Online contest "Learning about the conservation and promotion of the value of the World Natural Heritage Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park" from 28th April 2023 to 30th June 2023; Broadcasting Vietnamese - English bilingual documentary "Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park after 20 years recognized by UNESCO as World Natural Heritage"...
