Lonely Planet stated, Vietnam is a destination with convenient transportation and lots of fun for young children. However, visitors also need to set a detailed itinerary to make the trip more comfortable, for example, to the sea and island areas to relax and reduce travel time for toddlers. For the full-fledged preschooler, it is possible for them to enjoy sports activities and immerse themselves in cities rich in history. From here, visitors can also easily go to the nearby An Bang fine sand beach for a variety of activities.

In the northern region, the hill town of Sa Pa is Vietnam's most famous climbing spot. There are also many trekking routes connecting the town to the ethnic minority villages. Sa Pa also has a climbing trip of a lifetime which is the journey to climb Fansipan, the highest peak of Vietnam.
