Located on the Vietnam - China border, Ban Gioc Waterfall in Dam Thuy Commune, Trung Khanh District, Cao Bang Province, is considered a place with majestic natural scenery like a fairyland. This place is also known as one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Vietnam, one of the largest natural waterfalls in Southeast Asia.
From a height of more than 60m with the longest slope of 30m, large volumes of water from the waterfall pour down through many layers of rock, flowing like soft white silk strips amidst the vast green of the mountains and forests, then creating a white mist screen like clouds in the sky.
Surrounding Ban Gioc Waterfall is a beautiful and poetic natural landscape, fresh and cool air with lush green grass, primaeval forests and a rich and diverse ecosystem of animals and plants.
