(TITC) - In August, September and October, 2023, Bac Ha District (Lao Cai Province) will organise the Autumn White Plateau Festival with the theme "Autumn colours in the Plateau". The festival is a meeting place for domestic and international visitors to enjoy the poetic scenery.

Accordingly, in the framework of the Bac Ha Autumn White Plateau Festival 2023, several interesting activities will take place such as: Festival of the Army of Trung Do Temple and the opening of the Autumn Festival in 2023; held on 25th - 26th August 2023 at the National Historical and Cultural Relic of Trung Do Temple, Trung Do village, Bao Nhai commune with plentiful cultural, artistic and sports activities. The ceremony to announce the Vietnamese heritage tree (the ancient Shan Tuyet tea population) will take place at 8:00 am on 2nd September 2023 in Hoang Thu Pho commune.
The organisation of the 2nd Bac Ha general sport tourism tournament from 1st September to 2nd September 2023 in Bac Ha District with the following contents: marathon of Northwest mountain - Lao Cai 2023; Public Marathon "Discover the Bac Ha White Plateau in 2023"; Triathlon general sports tournament (combined running, cycling, kayaking); Experiential sports tourism programme (Bac H'Adventure).
Green rice festival with the name "Savour of Plateau green rice " in 2 days 23rd-24th September 2023 at the 2-storey building of Bac Ha Cultural Market. At the Festival, there are activities to demonstrate traditional crafts of making green rice and contests for processing dishes from green rice.
The full moon festival with light procession on the roads in Bac Ha town and the beautiful tray contest between the teams is held on the full moon of the mid-autumn festival (30th August, ie the 15th day of the 8th lunar month). Visitors and residents will have the opportunity to experience tea making, tea stories telling, enjoy tea and admire terraced fields in the golden season of ripe rice in Ban Lien commune on 7th October 2023. Bac Ha Autumn White Plateau Festival 2023 is expected to welcome 30,000 visitor arrivals to visit and experience.
