(TITC) - Responding to the Visit Vietnam Year 2023 “Binh Thuan - Green tourism comes together”, and also promoting tourism products connecting the two provinces of Binh Thuan (South Central Coast) and Lam Dong (Central Highlands), the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Binh Thuan has just implemented a plan to organise a tourism programme with the theme "Journey to the Sea and Flowers" from 29th - 30th September 2023.

In order to ensure the role of connecting the province's tourist areas and destinations with Lam Dong to form unique and attractive tourist routes, the highlight of the "Journey to the Sea and Flowers" is the Trekking programme on Ta Nang (Duc Trong district, Lam Dong Province) - Phan Dung (Tuy Phong district, Binh Thuan Province) connecting Lam Dong - Binh Thuan with 2 distances of 12 km or 14 km, scheduled to take place on 29th September. In addition to inspecting and experiencing the route, the inspection team (including representatives of relevant departments, Tourism Association, tourism businesses, and media agencies of the two provinces) also participated in planting trees for the purpose of protecting the environment, installing signage to guide and warn of dangers on the road.

Within the framework of the Binh Thuan - Lam Dong linked tourism programme, there is also a joint conference to develop tourism products "Journey to the Sea and Flowers" connecting the two localities together, taking place on 30th September in Ta Nang commune. The conference will in turn introduce the potential and strengths of Binh Thuan and Lam Dong tourism associated with the Sea and Flowers. At the conference, the tourism industry of the two provinces will announce the opening of the Ta Nang - Phan Dung trekking route to tourists; organise seminars on tourism combined with sports; discuss, exchange and cooperate in tourism development between tourism business units in the two provinces.

On this occasion, Lam Dong businesses also introduce stimulus programmes with new, typical tourism products of Lam Dong in response to the Visit Vietnam Year 2023 and introduce activities and events to celebrate the 130th anniversary of Da Lat - Formation and development. The conference is also an opportunity for Binh Thuan Tourism Association and Lam Dong - Da Lat Tourism Association to sign a tourism development cooperation agreement as well as tourism businesses of the two localities.
