(TITC) - On April 12, Binh Thuan Province officially launched its smart tourism portal at https://muinevietnam.vn, aiming to form an ecosystem in service of tourists, businesses and state management agencies.

The Smart Tourism Portal is an important channel to promote and introduce the potentials and strengths of Binh Thuan tourism as well as the unique characteristics of culture, sports and tourism to visitors.
The portal uses advanced technology of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), virtual 3D tour to support tourist experience, help tourists to choose their favorite itinerary, and promote tourist destinations via digital platforms.
Vice Chairman of the People’s Committee Nguyen Minh said the launching of the portal is expected to make progress in both quality and quantity for the tourism sector toward making it a spearhead industry of Binh Thuan.
He asked the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to coordinate with related parties to exploit and effectively operate the portal; continue to study, update information regularly, and integrate new application platforms to increase the interactivity of the portal.
Binh Thuan Province has been implementing many projects on application of information technology for socio-economic development such as: smart city, digital transformation in tourism, improving the competitiveness of businesses, contributing to realizing the goal of green and sustainable tourism development.
