Six projects to mitigate the negative of effects of climate change and rising sea-levels on urban areas are being carried out in Da Nang.
They include the Asian Cities Change Resilience Network (ACCCRN), and making Da Nang an environmentally-friendly city with low air-pollution; reducing greenhouse gas emissions; strategies for enhancing climate change adaptation in the energy and transport sector; building up community-based climate change adaptations.
Funding is from the Rockefeller Foundation, GIZ (German International Cooperation), the ADB (Asian Development Bank) and the AFD (French Agency for Development).
