(TITC) - On 3rd June, Da Nang Department of Tourism organised a Press Conference to announce the Enjoy Da Nang 2024 programme series - The Opening Ceremony of Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF) 2024 and introducing new tourism products.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Ho Ky Minh, Standing Vice Chairman of Da Nang City People's Committee said, the first 5 months of 2024, tourism activities persisted to grow strongly, a highlight in the city's economic development.
Many activities, events, festivals, and tourism products are organised and put into operation, contributing to creating a vibrant, fresh atmosphere that attracts a large number of domestic and international tourists to Da Nang.
In order to diversify tourism products, positioning "Da Nang - Asia's leading festival and event destination", in the coming time, the city will organise international-scale events such as the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival; Danang Asian Film Festival; Enjoy Da Nang 2024; Vietnam - Japan Festival; Vietnam - Korea Festival; Asian Development Golf Tournament 2024....
Noticeably, Da Nang International Fireworks Festival themed “Made in Unity - Global connection - Radiant five continents” taking place from 8th June to 13th July 2024 is a unique event that creates a bustling and vibrant atmosphere, giving a push for city tourism to continue expanding global connections.

The city always supports businesses in organising events, festivals, and developing new tourism products; and will open Bach Dang Pedestrian Street and Da Nang beach flower street this summer to meet the diverse demands of people and tourists.
Particularly, the Enjoy Da Nang 2024 received a huge amount of investment by the city with many attractive and rich cultural, entertainment, sports, culinary activities along with art performances gathering famous artists and singers.
Mr. Tan Van Vuong, Deputy Director of the Department of Tourism, Standing Deputy Head of the Organising Board of Enjoy Da Nang 2024 said, the festival will take place from 17th to 21st July, is an annual city-level event with 14 unique and attractive cultural, sports and tourist activities.
These include notable outstanding programmes such as the opening concert of Enjoy Da Nang 2024 (17th July); Vietnamese Flavours - International culinary festival; artistic kite performance; festival on sand; sailing performance on the Han River; traditional culinary experience space (17th to 21st July); experiential space for children; coastal festival; a series of unique evening art shows "Enjoy Da Nang"; SUP festival; performances of kite surfing, banana boats, parachute canoe performance (17th and 18th July); Zumba dance; barefoot running race on the beach…
In particular, visitors can choose tours in the "Enjoy Da Nang" tour programme to discover unique tourism products such as Da Nang City food tour; Son Tra peninsula discovery tour, festival enjoyment tour, Hoa Vang eco tour, waterway tour... with many attractive incentive packages.
