On approval of “Overall scheme on national resources and environmental monitoring system until 2020”.Overall strategyTo assure of setting up an uniformed, comprehensive and step-by-step modernized national natural resources and environment monitoring system to meet income demands, to provide basic statistic information, data on environment, to effectively assist tasks of environmental pollution treatment, to forecast and warn about loss or damage that may be caused by disaster, contribute to strong and stable development of the country. Scope of schemeOverall scheme on national resources and environmental monitoring system until 2020 is boundary to fairly stable, long-term monitoring system which can be flexibly combined among natural resources of environment such as water environment and hydrometeorology. A monitoring station shall be specific and utilized for particular purpose of forecasting dangerous disaster such as flood, tsunami, earthquake and other disasters which will be supplemented and built according to each project.
