(TITC) - After 3 years hiatus, from 3rd June to 8th July 2023, Da Nang City People’s Committee and Sun Group will organise the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival 2023 (DIFF 2023) with the participation of 7 international teams and the host team representing Vietnam from Da Nang with the theme "World without distance".

DIFF 2023 acts as the “put on show” event of the program "WOW Da Nang", part of the tourism promotion campaign "WOW Vietnam" initiated by Sun Group nationwide.
DIFF 2023 is scheduled to take place from 3rd June to 8th July 2023 at the fireworks stage on the Han River with the participation of 8 teams, including 7 international teams: England, Italy, Poland, France, Australia, Canada, Finland and the Vietnamese representative team from Da Nang.
Thereby, the Opening of DIFF 2023 will take place on 3rd June with the opening match between two teams Vietnam and Finland. The following nights, in turn, will witness the competition between the teams: Canada-France (10th June); Australia -Italy (17th June); Poland - England (24th June). The final night will take place on the evening of 8th July.
This year, DIFF 2023 embraces the theme “World without distance”, honouring the strong recovery of world tourism post the pandemic and DIFF 2023 in Da Nang. With colourful fireworks and a bunch of fascinating events across the city's destinations during DIFF 2023, Da Nang will be the convergence of global connectivity, igniting the vitality and solidarity of the 5 continents to overcome difficulties and challenges post-pandemic.
At DIFF, each firework team will have 20 minutes of nightly themed fireworks displays assigned by the organisers, including: Love without distance, Peace for the world, Equality for humanity, Unlimited creativity, Sustainable tourism development.
During the DIFF 2023, there are a series of events taking place side by side to increase the leverage experiences of visitors to Da Nang. Famous destinations of Da Nang such as Sun World Ba Na Hills, Asia Park, ... will organise many festivals, music and art events especially attractive, bringing visitors no boundary enjoyment when coming to the city.

Carrying the mission of "Enhancing the beauty of the land", Sun Group has also initiated the WOW Vietnam campaign to accompany Vietnam's tourism, honour attractive destinations across the country, and at the same time promote Vietnam tourism worldwide. DIFF 2023 is the main of the campaign, in the chain of WOW Da Nang activities.
A representative of Sun Group said, the returning of DIFF after 3 years of hiatus will be a "magnet" to attract visitors from all over the world. Together with the WOW Vietnam campaign, he hopes that DIFF 2023 will turn Da Nang into a summer tourist destination not only in the country but also in the region, shielding the event and Asia’s Leading Festival Destination crown.
The stage of the fireworks night themed "Springs of life" at DIFF 2019, with the image of cherry blossoms as one of the symbolic flowers of the top of Ba Na mountain.
This year's festival is the 11th time DIFF has been held in Da Nang. This is also one of the cultural events that create its own image for Da Nang city, and at the same time help the city being crowned twice as “Asia’s Leading Festival Destination”, a dynamic image of Da Nang, a city of festivals that always welcomes visitors year-round.
