A USD 15 million project to improve the urban environment of Dong Ha town, central Quang Tri province was launched on October 16, 2008.
This is a part of the central region urban environmental improvement project funded by the French Development Agency and official development assistance (ODA). The project will focus on raising the awareness of local residents of the importance of environmental hygiene, as well as improving sanitation, drainage and solid waste management systems in the project site. The project is scheduled to be completed by November 2009.
