(TITC) - Hang Heo (or Boar Cave) is a natural rock beach located next to a pristine beach, separate from the noisy city.
The beach is located in Luong Son Village, Vinh Luong Commune, about 15km from Nha Trang City to the north. From the city centre, visitors follow Pham Van Dong Street, go up Luong Son Pass until the end of the slope, and finally reach Hang Heo.
Walking inside about 200 metres, visitors will encounter a rocky beach that curves along the coast, nearly a kilometre long. On the left of the rocky beach is Luong Son Beach, on the right there are large, magical, sharp stone blocks. Climbing inside these rock formations is Hang Heo. The rock beach in Hang Heo is thousands of years old. Sun, rain, waves, wind make the rocky beach become rough and salacious. The blocks here are of all shapes and sizes, with sharp blocks and round blocks. Located next to the blue beach, the rock formations are also covered with many types of vines, creating a wild and rustic scene.

From Hang Heo, visitors can admire Nha Phu lagoon with many fishing boats. The peaceful natural picture of the area is most beautiful at sunset, when the sea is calm. Visitors can listen to the sound of waves crashing against the rocks. Sunset is also the time when the beach here is the busiest, mostly locals.
According to locals, more than 20 years ago, the Luong Son area, Vinh Luong, was a small fishing village located on National Highway 1. People call this rocky area an island, also known as Dong Be, by the its isolation. Although there is a trail, it is desolate, deserted of people, only locals go to the fields. The name Hang Heo comes from the habit of wild boars on Co Tien Mountain coming down here to sleep. It is thought that perhaps the cool, secluded rapids should be a safe place for them.
When Pham Van Dong Street was completed, this area became known to many people, becoming an inspiration for photographers and wedding couples.

Hang Heo is not a place for people who like to enjoy luxurious and comfortable travel services, but a suitable place to explore and experience immersion in nature. Activities to experience include walking on the rocky beach, watching the sea from above, following the trail to visit the fisherman's life in the fishing village, trying local dishes or grilling your own food on the rocks.
Luong Son Pass, the path to Hang Heo area is also an interesting place. The long, winding pass embraces the entire coastline, with mountains on one side. From here, visitors can enjoy a panoramic view of Nha Trang city and bay.
