(TITC) - After 2 months of annual technical maintenance, Hon Thom cable car welcomes passengers again from 9th December, bringing visitors to countless exciting experiences at Sun World Hon Thom during the most beautiful season of the year.

Hon Thom cable car, one of Phu Quoc's iconic tourism products, has officially reopened to welcome visitors, right before the 2024 Christmas and New Year tourism peak.
Accordingly, the cable car is open from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily, ticket prices remain unchanged; Children under 1 metre are free. Ticket price includes a two-way cable car experience, adventure games at Exotica game area and Aquatopia Water Park on Hon Thom island.
Especially to welcome the cable car reopening and the Kiss Bridge officially launching from 22nd December, Sun World Hon Thom launches an attractive promotion with Early Bird combo.
Specifically, the combo includes a round-trip cable car experience, watching the Kiss of The Sea multimedia technology show and visiting the Kissing Bridge at a preferential price. Early Bird Combo is officially open for sale from now until 15th December 2023 and the usage period applies from 16th December 2023 - 31st January 2024, with the condition of paying 100% of the combo before 5:00 p.m. on 15th December 2023. The experience of visiting Kissing Bridge will apply from 22nd December 2023.

Opened in 2018, the world's longest three-wire cable car line at Sun World Hon Thom is invested by Sun Group and constructed by Doppelmayr - Garaventa, connecting An Thoi town to the marine entertainment complex on Hon Thom island. Hon Thom cable car route has a total length of nearly 7.899m, crossing the sea and 6 cable pillars on the islands, of which the highest pillar is up to 164.4m. This cable car system at Hon Thom has been recognized by Guinness World Records as "the longest sea-crossing three-wire cable car in the world". The birth of this first sea-crossing cable car has also contributed to the debut of an unprecedentedly attractive and classy experience for tourists coming to Phu Quoc.

Travelling along the cable car route, visitors will be able to see the vivid picture of the ocean with the blue colour of the emerald sea, dotted with colourful fishing boats in the distance. Looking forward to welcoming visitors after the cable car line is “a heaven” of colourful entertainment at Sun World Hon Thom. Here, visitors can "clear" 21 games at Aquatopia Water Park or challenge their bravery with adventure games at Exotica village such as the first wooden roller coaster in Vietnam - Moc Xa Thinh No (Angry Wooden Snake).

The journey to discover Hon Thom also offers a fascinating experience of walking under the sea. Visitors will have the opportunity to see colourful corals with their own eyes, discover the magic of the ocean world and learn about how Phu Quoc tourism businesses preserve corals and cultivate private areas to develop tourist attractions.
Also this December, Kissing Bridge, the bridge that once became a phenomenon on social networks with its surreal beauty, will officially welcome visitors in Sunset Town. The bridge has a total length of 800m, with two branches North Wing and South Wing (North and South bridge branches) forming a unified whole but not touching and 30 cm apart, just enough to be filled by a handshake or a hug or a passionate kiss. Not only does it symbolise love and connection, the bridge is also considered one of the most beautiful sunset viewing spots in the world.

Also at the end of this year, La Festa Phu Quoc - a "super product" created from the handshake of Sun Group and the "big fish" in the hotel industry Hilton - officially operates in the centre of the South of Phu Quoc Island. VUI-fest Bazaar (VUI PHET night market) is Vietnam's first creative night market and will also come into operation at the end of 2023, promising not only to bring a bustling night market, gathering shows vibrant, local food stalls and a variety of shopping items, but also has become the busiest entertainment and festival venue on the island.
