Opening Thai Nguyen tourism season 2022

(TITC) - On April 24, Thai Nguyen Province organized the ceremony to open tourist season 2022 under the theme "Discover the legendary land".

Mr. Ta Quang Dong - Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism and Mr. Nguyen Le Phuc – Vice Chairman of Vietnam National Administration of Tourism attended the event.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Dang Xuan Truong - Vice Chairman of Thai Nguyen People's Committee emphasized that Thai Nguyen is located in the key economic region north of Ha Noi capital. The province is not only favorable in terms of geographical location, but also has advantages in tourism resources along with valuable cultural and historical heritage sites.

Thai Nguyen attracts tourists by tourism types such as returning to the source - learning about historical sites, archaeological sites and eco-tourism, etc.

In order to achieve the goal of welcoming 3.2 million visitor arrivals in 2025, the province has been implementing many solutions to attract tourists and actively cooperate with provinces and cities on tourism development.

The province also applied 4.0 technology to introduce and promote tourism on Thai Nguyen tourism website, C-ThaiNguyen application and digital platform.

Mr. Ta Quang Dong asked Thai Nguyen Province developing tourism linked with conservation and promotion of heritage values and national cultural identity; preparing facilities, labour force to ensure safe and effective tourism.

At the ceremony, the delegates pressed the button to open Thai Nguyen tourism season 2022, witnessing the signing MoU of tourism development cooperation.
