The Son Tra District People's Committee is running the contest “Designing a check-in model to create a tourist highlight in Son Tra District’.

Accordingly, the contest aims to find creative and unique design ideas for check-in models, suitable to local cultural and geographical characteristics, creating the highlight of the Son Tra District landscape.
That visitors take photos at check-in points contributes to promoting the districts’ image as a rich and attractive tourist destination,attracting a large number of tourists to the district in particular, Da Nang as a whole.
Under the event’s rules, contestants are Vietnamese organisations and citizens, regardless of age or gender. They can compete in the contest as an individual or a group.
Members of the organising and jury boards and the assisting team are not allowed to participate in the contest.
The contest runs from October 19, 2022 to March 30, 2023.
Entries include individual/group information, products illustrated via the coloured drawings of A1 size (unlimited quantity) and the presentation of the contest idea.
Entries will be submitted to the contest’s organisers in both paper-based and soft-file formats via email: trungtamvhtttt.sontra@gmail.com.
The paper-based entries should be sent to the Son Tra District Culture, Information and Sports Centre at 1 Tran Quang Dieu Street, An Hai Tay Ward, Son Tra District, Da Nang.
Criteria to evaluate works are based on symbolism, aesthetics, originality, impression, meaningful content, easy-to-remember and easy-to-construct features.
The ideas to design the check-in model to create tourist attractions in Son Tra District must ensure creativity and artistry in design, with conceptual content, at the same time honouring historical, traditional, cultural and landscape values, hereby contributing to the image of a dynamic, creative and attractive Son Tra District.
Also, layout, shapes, lines and colours must meet the requirements of model design such as symbolism, aesthetics, uniqueness, impression and they are highly recommended to be easy to remember.
The idea must be highly feasible with the use of local materials is highly encouraged and withstand the impact of nature, especially the marine environment and cost savings for implementation.
