Foreign tourists enjoy discovering Vietnamese traditional musical instruments
Truc Mai Music House is a familiar space for many locals and tourists who love Vietnamese traditional music. At a small house on 104 Pham Viet Chanh Street, Binh Thanh District, distinguished artist Tuyet Mai, her husband, bamboo flute artist Dinh Linh, and two children are still enthusiastically conveying knowledge to traditional music lovers through Vietnamese traditional musical instrument classes.
The course content includes the origin, how to play, and names of 20 types of Vietnamese traditional musical instruments so that visitor can accurately recognize special and popular instruments of traditional music.

Visitors also is guided basic music theory and learn one of musical instruments: đàn bầu (monochord), đàn tranh (plucked zither), T'rung, K'longput. They do not have to buy musical instruments or pay any tuition fees during the course.
At the same time, the artist's family also organizes performances of adoration songs, folk songs, and musical works played from different traditional instruments.
During the performance, the artist couple will introduce and explain in detail to the audience the meaning of each traditional Vietnamese musical instrument.
