Ha Long Bay to receive the certificate of the World Natural Wonder

On April 16, in Ha Long city, representative leaders of the Quang Ninh’s Provincial Standing Committee, Provincial People’s Committee, and Provincial People’s Council had a meeting to discuss the issues regarding advertisement and sponsorship for the organization of the ceremony to receive the certificate of World Natural Wonders as well as 2012 Carnival Ha Long.

At the meeting, the provincial leaders also expressed the province’s gratitude to the organizations and individuals inside and outside Vietnam who have enthusiastically supported the campaign and voted for Ha Long Bay.

The meeting was attended by Mr. Nguyen Duc Long, Vice-Chairman of Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee, the Chairman of Quang Ninh Provincial People’s Council, and representatives from relevant departments, sectors and banks within the province.

At the meeting, Vice-Chairwoman of QNPPC,Vu Thi Thu Thuy has briefed the plan to organize the 2012 Ha Long Tourism Week. She called for businesses, banks, organizations and individuals within the province to support, promote and sponsor Carnival Ha Long 2012 and Ha Long Tourism Week so that the event would be more impressive and meaningful for not only Quang Ninh people but also domestic and foreign tourists.

Banks’ leaders all expressed their agreement and enthusiasm to promote and sponsor the Ha Long Tourism Week and the ceremony to receive the certificate from the New7Wonders.

To conclude the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Duc Long stressed that this is an important event of the province which requires the responsibility of the whole political system, including banking system in the province.  He hoped that all organizations within the province would have close coordination to successfully hold this event. He pledged that Quang Ninh will provide the best conditions for the businesses, organizations and individuals so that they could actively support, collaborate and sponsor 2012 Ha Long-Quang Ninh Tourism Week.
