Yesterday marked the final day of the 2012 DIFC which featured amazing performances by French and Italian teams.
Team Italy secured its second consecutive championship title at this year’s DIFC with its Da Nang’s rainbow show. Team China and team France shared second place while team Canada and team Viet Nam took third place.
In his closing speech, People’s Committee Chairman Van Huu Chien said that the annual two day fireworks festival was held successfully in Da Nang and viewers witnessed spectacular fireworks displays of the competing teams. He also praised the support provided by the government, ministries and central agencies. The city leader took the opportunity to thank the sponsors and media for their generosity and dedication to this event.
The Da Nang medal campaign was presented to Malaysia’s Global 2000 consult company for its contribution to the success of the annual DIFC over the past five years.
