Education for Nature – Vietnam (ENV) has partnered with the Endangered Wildlife Trust (EWT), a South African non-profit (NPO) non-governmental (NGO) organization, to produce two new posters campaigning for rhino protection.
The posters are produced in both English and Vietnamese languages, inviting people to say NO to using rhino horn and YES to saving rhinos. The first poster encourages consumers not to use rhino horn in order to stop the slaughter of rhinos, while the second poster asks the viewer to consider the effect of rhino horn consumption on baby rhinos which are often left orphaned by poaching.
In Vietnam, the posters will be distributed virally through websites, social media channels, forums and blogs, and displayed during ENV awareness activities such as public exhibitions and university programs.
The joint venture marks the first formal cooperation between ENV and a South African organization mutually committed to ending the killing of rhinos.
