Vietnam Heritage Photo Awards Ceremony 2014

On November 23rd, the awards ceremony for the Vietnam Heritage Photo Award 2014 took place in Ho Chi Minh city on the occasion of the 10th Vietnam Cultural Heritage Day.

>The competition attracted 4, 402 entries from 477 participants, depicting the land, nature, people and their stories of national tangible and intangible cultural heritages.

The organizers selected the 100 best photos to display at 200 tourist centers, museums and universities across the country including Binh Thuan, Khanh Hoa, Can Tho, Hanoi, Ba Ria- Vung Tau, Ho Chi Minh city, Quang Nam, Da Nang, An Giang and Quang Ninh.

Addressing the ceremony, Le Thanh Hai, Editor-in-Chief of the Vietnam Heritage Magazine and head of the contest organizing board said that the contest was an opportunity for professional and non-professional photographers to show their sentiment and pride for the homeland and share valuable moments on the topics of Vietnamese heritage.

The organizing board presented awards according to topics, including nature, life, intangible cultural heritage, and tangible cultural heritage.
