Tuyen Lam Lake becomes national tourism area

(TITC) – Tuyen Lam Lake tourist area in Da Lat City, Lam Dong Province has been recognized as a national tourism area.

Tuyen Lam Lake tourism area came into operation since January 1, 2004, with an area of 2,900ha. Currently, there are 10 tourist facilities operating including Dalat Edensee Lake Resort, Datanla Waterfall, Tuyen Lam Golf Club, Sacom Resort, Dalat Sculpture Tunnel, Terracotta Resort Dalt, K’Lan Eco Resort, Binh An Village Dalat, Truc Lam Zen Monastery Dalat, Thanh Quang Orchids garden.

Various tourism products and services have been developed in this tourism area such as high-level leisure tourism combining with MICE, adventure sport tourism, eco-tourism, spiritual and cultural tourism, etc.

Previously, Lam Dong Provincial People’s Committee had approved a project to plan over 110ha of cherry blossom trees and 230ha of green trees around Tuyen Lam Lake area. The project helped increase the green cover, preserve the water storage of the lake, besides create a pure natural landscape for tourists’ demand of sightseeing and relaxation.
