On December 26th, 2006, Vietnam National Administration of Tourism in coordination with People’s Committee of Quang Ninh launched “Environmental protection Week” in Ha Long.
Attending the ceremony were leadership of departments, sectors of province and travel agencies, local people of Bai Chay Ward, students of Ha Long College of Culture, Art and Tourism, Bai Chay II High School. Environment protection week was launched anually in order to raise awareness of people in the protection of environment. By the mean of launching ceremony, Quang Ninh Tourism Department want to send a message to people: environment protection from daily normal deed and concrete action of people.
