Accordingly, over 300 types of rose from Bulgaria and the world will gather at the Thong Nhat (Reunification) Park. Ha Noi will become a paradise of the rose. It is the first time that the festival is organized in Viet Nam.The Bulgarian embassy in Hanoi and the Vietnam-Bulgaria Friendship Association will co-organize the festival.
On March 3-8, the Bulgarian rose festival will take place at the Thong Nhat (Reunification) Park in Hanoi. As known, the Bulgarian rose festival is an event to welcome National Day of Bulgaria (March 03) and Women’s Dat (March 08) as a chance to promote Viet Nam and Bulgaria cultural exchange. Many activities prepares for the event such as a rose exhibition featuring 300 different varieties of roses, street festival, parade of roses, music and food events, Queen of Rose beauty contest and talk show among others. A Thang Long drum performance, lion dance, flash mob dance and balloon release also will be kicked off at the opening ceremony. Special gifts of 500 cosmetic samples made from oil-bearing roses will also be given out to guests during the event. There will be a rose garden in an area of 600m2 with variety of colorful roses.
