Christopher Dunn – an inspirer
After graduating from the Cumberland College of Health Sciences and taking some training courses in Mackay Community Garden specialzing in agriculture and aquaculture, Christopher has worked for a community organization for 17 years to support and encourage Australian farmers to adopt sustainable farming. In 2005, he visited Hoi An city (Quang Nam province) and decided to choose this city as his second homeland because of its natural beauty and transquil. He found Hoi An siminar to Mackay in climate, vast fields and mild residents.

Christopher Dunn talked to Quang Nam province’s and Da Nang city’s farmer about the method of environmentally friendly farming that are benefiting peoples’ health and life. He also supported local startups with organic agriculture such as Coco Farm (Cam Thanh, Hoi An), Thanh Dong vegetable garden (Cam Chau, Hoi An), Rom Vang farm (Dien Hoa, Dien Ban). He also help them produce and sell their products, build their own trademarks.
Towards community
Christopher took part in seminars on the development of sustainable agriculture for a` healthy life, a harmonious balance between human benefits and nature. He is a member of many community organizations on environmental protection in Vietnam, Thailand, Cambodia…
Christopher and his friends from different countries such as Vietnam, South Korea, Japan responded to the Hoi An eco-city project by calling for community saying no to plastic waste and unrecyclable waste to protect environment. Your Life Socical Permaculture company is established by Christopher to distribute environmentally friendly Vietnamese products such as bamboo straws, bowls, cans for food storage made from bagasse, bags from shealth of areca tree to domestic and international markets.
Every Sunday, Christopher volunteerly guides children to visit the organic farms. He supposed that educating children via empirical experience will help them raise the love of nature and environmental protection in the future.
