(TITC) - On 09th March 2022, the webinar “Google’s Free Booking Link - New Source of Driving Hotel Direct Bookings” hosted by HotelLink with the support of Google took place via online platform.
The webinar “Google’s Free Booking Link - New Source of Driving Hotel Direct Bookings” is aimed to introduce hoteliers a new way to reach out for more customers, improve their property’s online presence and grow sales. The webinar also covers strategies and procedures for hoteliers to capture more bookings & traffic.
Attending the webinar were representatives from HotelLink and Google, along with the participation of business partners and hotels from Vietnam.
According Ms. Bee Sirirojmetha, Partnership Manager of Google said travel recovery is on the horizon since search demand and travel intent is seeing significant growth and as the vaccine rollout grows, people feel more confident about travel abroad. Once the pandemic has been well controlled, people will tend to go outdoors and it is believed that tourism activities will resume fully and the industry will be back to normal as before the pandemic. In addition, Vietnam will be one of the most attractive destinations in Asia for tourists all around the world.
Currently, the analytical data from Google Destination Insights showed the number of international search volume for Vietnam tourism is increasing sharply from the beginning of 2022. Google’s free booking link will play as the one-stop solution for accommodation providers to reach potential customers and drive more direct bookings, especially, helping hoteliers in Vietnam not to miss out on the opportunity to improve their properties online profiles and grow sales from this global platform.
With only three key steps: Sign up for Business Profile which is provided on Google platform; Manage hotel’s details through technology partners with the list provided by Google (https://ads.google.com/hotels/partners/) and engage with customers nationally and internationally; hoteliers will be welcomed on board and start to build their business plans accordingly. Currently, with Google’s free booking link, hoteliers will be easy to get started with no fee or commission.
