People's Committee of Nga Bay City, Hau Giang Province organised a ceremony to open the Nga Bay City's Tourism and Investment Promotion Festival 2024, on the evening of June 28.

Nga Bay City's Tourism and Investment Promotion Festival 2024 takes place from June 28 to June 29, with many activities such as Visiting the city's "Tourism and Investment Promotion Festival" space, Nga Bay Cuisine Contest, and organising a Famtrip titled “Garden Tourism - cultural beauty where seven rivers converge", to visit typical destinations of Nga Bay and a workshop on "Tourism and investment promotion", with the theme "Nga Bay - Opportunity for you".
According to Le Hoang Xuyen, Chairman of the People's Committee of Nga Bay City, with the theme "Nga Bay City-Rivers of Memories", Nga Bay City's Tourism and Investment Promotion Festival is organised for the first time to promote the image of the land, people, cultural identity, tourism activities and typical cuisine of Nga Bay city.
At the same time, the event aims to create conditions for state management agencies, investors, and businesses, to meet and discuss the general socio-economic development situation and potential investment and development projects in various fields of urban, industrial cluster infrastructure, trade-services, tourism, education and healthcare, contributing to establish linkage, cooperation and investment relationships in Nga Bay City.
The event also aims to promote cultural values, history, natural resources, traditional craft villages, cuisine and local specialties associated with tourism development.
It contributes to promoting tourism, investment in the socio-economic development of the city, and realising the goals and tasks of striving to build Nga Bay as one of the trade, service and tourism centres of Hau Giang Province.
