On March 16, the leader of Hue Power Company (Hue PC) announced that the unit has just implemented numerous activities in response to the “Nationwide energy efficiency and conservation in response to Earth Hour 2025” movement.

Earth Hour 2025 will take place on Saturday, March 22, 2025, from 8:30 PM to 9:30 PM, with the theme “Green Transition - Green Future” to raise public awareness about energy conservation, environmental protection, and climate change response.
Hue PC has developed a practical and specific plan, including directing affiliated units to disseminate the content of electricity saving and environmental protection more widely and deeply to officials and employees. This includes activities in response to green living, using renewable energy sources, environmental sanitation, household waste sorting, and using less energy-intensive equipment.
Each official and employee at Hue PC commits to fully participating in electricity saving measures at their office and work unit; proactively turning off lights and unnecessary electrical equipment on weekdays, in months, and during the Earth Hour light-off event, specifically, striving to reduce electricity demand by 10% monthly and 15% during peak months from April to July, compared to the same period last year.
During the Earth Hour light-off event in Hue City, Hue PC will strengthen electricity consumption management at the main office building and monitors the implementation of electricity saving and efficiency in affiliated units; striving to reduce monthly and 2025 electricity consumption to no higher than the same period last year, without affecting the unit's regular activities.

Hue PC has encouraged officials and employees to actively participate in online surveys such as the “Survey on training needs for communication skills in the field of electricity saving for local power management and staff”, organized by the Ministry of Industry and Trade at https://tietkiemnangluong.com.vn/khaosat/; participating in the Earth Hour 2025 Online Run at https://tapchicongthuong.vn/; and the online competition “Learning about electricity saving in response to Earth Hour 2025”, held from March 8 to March 28, 2025, at https://tietkiemnangluong.com.vn/.
According to Mr. Nguyen Dai Phuc, Director of Hue PC, implementing the direction of relevant ministries and Hue City, the unit has carried out many activities to respond to the annual Earth Hour campaign; especially in 2025, in addition to direct and specific response movements, Hue PC also integrates the city's electricity saving program according to Directive 20/CT-TTg of the Prime Minister on strengthening electricity saving in the period of 2023 - 2025 and the following years. Through specific communication activities about responding to the Earth Hour campaign, Hue PC hopes to contribute to changing the awareness of the community, considering the implementation of electricity saving solutions as a regular activity and a daily habit. Thereby, responsibly accompanying the city's electricity sector to implement electricity saving and environmental protection.
