International tourists are becoming more aware of and interested in Phu Yen tourism.
Since March 2022, when tourism reopened after COVID-19, the service industry has experienced the most spectacular recovery and growth. In 2022, the total number of tourists choosing Phu Yen as a destination reached over 2.2 million, exceeding the planned 200,000 visitors. In the first 7 months of 2023, the total number of tourists to Phu Yen reached 1,889 million, an increase of 88.3% over the same period last year, of which international visitors reached 10,240, an increase of 180.5% over the same period last year. In particular, the total number of guests increased sharply, exceeding 82.1% over the same period last year, and the accommodation revenue reached VND 408.69 billion. The special national relics of Da Dia Reef, Bai Mon-Mui Dien, Hon Yen, and Van Hoa Plateau are places that visitors to Phu Yen cannot miss.
