Quang Ninh Province will officially launch tours to explore Bai Tu Long Bay in mid-March, announced by the provincial People’s Committee.
Specifically, ten sightseeing tours within Bai Tu Long Bay and three connecting routes between Ha Long Bay and Bai Tu Long Bay will be newly introduced. This initiative aims to boost tourism and services, increase visitor spending, extend their stay, and unlock the economic potential of tourism development. It is expected to contribute significantly to Quang Ninh’s goal of achieving a GRDP growth rate of over 14% in 2025.
The Quang Ninh Provincial People's Committee has directed the Provincial Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism to develop a detailed plan for welcoming visitors to Bai Tu Long Bay and Ha Long Bay. The goal is that by the end of 2025, the province will have fully operational ten tourism routes, seven overnight stay locations, Bai Tu Long National Park, an ecological park, the tram (Syzygium cumini) forest, heritage trees, and tours covering the islands of Quan Lan, Minh Chau, Ban Sen, and Ngoc Vung.
Along with Ha Long Bay, Bai Tu Long Bay has been voted one of Southeast Asia's most attractive tourist destinations, boasting majestic natural beauty, thousands of large and small islands, stunning beaches, and a fascinating culinary experience.
Quang Ninh Province aims to welcome 20 million visitors, including 15.5 million domestic tourists and 4.5 million international tourists in 2025. The total revenue from tourism activities is expected to reach 50 trillion VND. Therefore, the new sightseeing tours on Bai Tu Long Bay are expected to contribute to realising this goal.
