(TITC) - Quang Tri is a coastal province located in the Central Region of Vietnam. With the advantage of a 75 km coastline, the province has focused its investment resources on developing sea and island tourism products.

Quang Tri Province owns many charming beaches which attract travel lovers, such as Cua Tung, Cua Viet, Gio Hai, My Thuy, and Con Co Island that is located 18 nautical miles from the mainland. Quang Tri Province has implemented development plans to build up typical tourist areas and attractions in localities in order to promote the potential, advantages of the sea.
Vinh Linh District, in particular, there are eco-tourism and leisure areas such as Ru Linh, Vinh Thai beach, Mui Treo-Ru Bau, Cua Tung beach, Vinh Moc tunnels connected to Hien Luong-Ben Hai special national relic site. Gio Linh District has service areas - Cua Viet beach, connecting Cua Viet - Cua Tung. Trieu Phong District has Trieu Lang coastal service tourism area connected with Tra Loc eco-tourism area, Hai Khe coastal service tourism in Hai Lang District.
Con Co island District has Con Co island tourist area connected to Cua Viet - Cua Tung service-tourist area. By developing a chain linking tourist areas and spots has created favourable conditions for the development of trade-services and sea tourism in the province.
Quang Tri Province also has issued several policies to attract investments, tourism development resources to operate projects on development of trade-services, sea tourism; strengthening the construction and consolidation of coastal infrastructure, combined with the promotion of tourism service activities, swimming and relaxing at common beaches, and sea and islands service tourist spots,…

In 2022, Quang Tri’s tourism industry joined Da Nang international travel mart with the theme "Experience the beauty of Quang Tri islands and sea"; organise the Caravan Programme "Calling Sea" to introduce and promote Quang Tri tourist destinations in general and sea tourism images in particular to tourism business units and attract domestic, international tourists to the province.
According to the Quang Tri Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center, in 2023, the province will pay attention to activities of promoting, attracting and supporting tourism investors, especially strategic investors in implementing tourism projects; applying digital transformation, information technology application in the field of tourism; effectively develop revolutionary historical tourism resources; develop the potential of sea and island tourism.
