Rubbish floods Phan Thiet’s symbolic river

Ca Ty river attracted thousands of visitors during Phan Thiet city’s boat races. It is a symbol of Phan Thiet city. However, the river has changed completely and is now dying due to dumping contamination.

Dozens of waste water pipes discharge untreated water into the river. Tons of shells were illegally thrown into the river. Hundreds of boats also discharge waste into the river.
