(TITC) - On March 18, in Hoi An City (Quang Nam Province), Tuoi Tre Newspaper cooperated with the People's Committee of Quang Nam Province and Travelner, Vinpearl, Vietjet, Saigontourist Group to organize a seminar "Impressive Vietnam - Refreshing to welcome visitors”.

The event, held right after Vietnam officially reopened tourism from March 15, 2022, has great significance in creating new products, stimulus programs to attract tourists.
Mr. Le Tri Thanh (Chairman of Quang Nam People's Committee), Mr. Nguyen Le Phuc (Vice Chairman of Vietnam National Administration of Tourism), Mr. Le The Chu (Editor-in-Chief of Tuoi Tre newspaper), and more than 150 delegates from the tourism community attended the seminar.
Speaking at the seminar, Mr. Le The Chu considered this a new opportunity: “After the rain, the sun is shining again. That is an optimistic view of our nation's tradition. Thanks to that, through many difficulties, ups and downs, our nation still overcomes to build a richer and more beautiful country. There is a rule that is always true for everyone and every profession, that is, if you want to develop, you must always think new, do new things, so that today must be different from yesterday, and tomorrow must be different from today.
With the spirit of always optimistic to move forward, we think the past two difficult years, if positive, we will find opportunities. What is that opportunity? We have time to look back at ourselves to see what needs to be changed so that when guests come to our house, they will be happier and more interested."
"How should tourism products be renewed, how should services respond to the new situation; what solutions should ministries and authorities take to go deeper and more effectively. These are the things that the tourism industry is asking and looking for the answers" emphasized Mr. Le Tri Thanh.
At the seminar, many delegates shared experiences and innovative solutions for product development. Mr. Nguyen Chau A shared a story of refreshing with unique tourism products. Software engineer Ho Anh Tuan shared about the tourism technology platform to explore Ho Chi Minh City with the game he created. Couple Nguyen Thanh Ngoc and Hang Thi Su introduced the secret of successful community tourism promotion in Sin Suoi Ho Village, Phong Tho District, Lai Chau Province. Mr. Nguyen Tien Huy told the story of how to communicate and promote Vietnam tourism to the world.
Also on this occasion, businesses in the fields of aviation, travel, accommodation and destinations such as Vinpearl, Vietjet, Saigontourist, Travelner introduced new, unique and impressive products and stimulation programmes to attract tourists.
Speaking at the seminar, Vice Chairman of Vietnam National Administration of Tourism Nguyen Le Phuc was pleased to see many initiatives launched by businesses at the Impression Vietnam program.
He said that the tourism industry is guiding businesses to welcome back tourists. The product renewal is oriented on 5 fields including: sea and island tourism, cultural tourism, eco-tourism, urban tourism, and leisure and vacation tourism, wellness tourism.
Localities and businesses also need to pay special attention to human resource training, investment in facilities; strengthen communication, improve destination quality.
According to the plan, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism will focus on promoting Vietnam tourism in the country and in international markets and will also continue to propose to the Government to continue extending support policies for businesses until the end of 2023.
