In his business schedule to South Vietnam, the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Hoang Tuan Anh has visited and worked with the People’s Committee of Binh Phuoc Province. In addition to issues regarding orientating the development of cultural, sports and tourism, the Minister also visited and examined the attractions here.
Regarding the management, development of culture, sports, tourism and families in the province, according to the People’s Committee, the work of information, propaganda has been carried out in many forms and continuously improves efficiency. The province has taken good part in the festival of exchanging cultural identity between regions aiming at the 1000th anniversary of Thang Long – Hanoi, researches the topic of science “Life of workers in French colonial time in Binh Phuoc Province”; the work of building cultural life and family continues to be deployed to the grassroots level; organized the trial people’s conference about the family work at the commune level throughout the province; successfully organized the 2008 province’s cultural family contest. Sports also take place vibrantly with diversified content as performing Unicorn – Lion – Dragon, flagging, pushing sticks, slow bicycle ridding, iron ball…
Moreover, the province has made a specific plan to take good advantage of the product of discovering vestiges and landscapes, to take use of capital and to call for investment to build the resort Suoi Cam Lake; conducts survey of the Cambodian market; builds the Suoi Giai resort in Tan Lap Commune, Dong Phu District; registers for investing on the Ba Ra resort and Bau Lach grassland. However, the province also meets with many difficulties: The ethnic groups mainly live in remote or boundary areas, where the infrastructure is bad and the economic, cultural life is still difficult. The technical facilities for sports is lack, the landscapes have not yet accessed the investment from the central government and foreign investors. On the visit and working of the Minister, the province’s People’s Committee proposed the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to assess the financial support for 3 projects, which are the base of Regional Army Headquarter (B2) – Ta Thiet, swimming pools, the Ba Ra – Thac Mo resort.
Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Hoang Tuan Anh commanded, “Binh Phuoc has an important political position, local people has a high income, so this is also a great potential of the province. However, the tourist investment must be planned specifically, sustainable in term of environment so that nature will be persevered for future generations. At the same time, the province must pay attention to remote areas to develop culture, sports there.” Moreover, to contribute to the advertising the province, it is necessary to organize a festival, There are many ethnic groups in Binh Phuoc, so there are many unique cultural festivals to be upheld. However, festival organizing must be based on economical spirit, center focusing and not including so many fields. The work of taking part in the competitions, culture and arts performance in other provinces is also a good method to advertise and introduce Binh Phuoc.
After his working session with the province’s authorities, the Minister continued visiting and checking the My Le eco-tourist area, Ba Ra – Thac Mo resort, My Le Hotels before ending his visit and working journey.
