(TITC) - On 10th March 2022, Vietnam Airlines signed a comprehensive cooperation agreement with the People’s Committees of Thua Thien Hue Province for the period of 2022-2026 and with Quang Tri Province for the period of 2021-2025.

The agreements were signed to enhance the promotion of the destination’s images, improve the efficiency of investment and tourism promotion activities, and contribute positively to the socio-economic development of Thua Thien Hue Province and Quang Tri Province, at the same time, contribute to promoting the images, products and services of Vietnam Airlines.
Thereby, Vietnam Airlines in cooperation with the People’s Committees of Thua Thien Hue Province and Quang Tri Province will uphold the promotion, investment, trade, education, aviation of the destination, and restore aviation service industry in particular, tourism industry in general post the COVID-19 pandemic, in 04 main activities as follow: Cooperation in promoting Investment - Trade - Tourism - Aviation; Coordination in researching and forming tourism products and routes; Organising national and regional educational, cultural, sports and tourism events; Cooperation in organising, participating and supporting the work programme of delegations of Thua Thien Hue Province and Quang Tri Province in promoting domestic and international tourism as using Vietnam Airlines transports.

In exchange for the favour, Thua Thien Hue Province and Quang Tri Province will promote brand image, products and services of Vietnam Airlines to people, tourists and agencies in each province to attract customers, enhance and encourage the use of aviation services of Vietnam Airlines.
Vietnam Airlines will promote information about destinations, tourism events, diplomatic activities, culture, investment promotion and annual trade of Thua Thien Hue Province and Quang Tri Province on Vietnam Airlines’ products. Research and operate flight efficiency and coordinate to organise delegations of domestic and international travel businesses and press to survey, exchange, cooperate and participate in events held in the two localities. Join and support the delegations of 02 provinces to promote and call for investment in key international markets and national and regional educational, cultural, sports, tourism, investment and commercial events in the cooperation phase.
Right after the signing ceremony with the People’s Committee of Thua Thien Hue Province, Vietnam Airlines has concretised the cooperation programme by participating in brand promotion at Hue Festival 2022. This is the 7th year that Vietnam Airlines and Pacific Airlines have joined with the most attractive festival in Hue.
