On the afternoon of February 20, the Center for Environmental Communication under the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment held a press conference to introduce the Art for Climate Festival Ha Long 2025.
This special cultural and tourism event aims to raise awareness and inspire action toward environmental protection and climate change adaptation on a global scale.
Vu Minh Ly, Deputy Director of the Center for Environmental Communication, stated that the festival will integrate artistic expression with environmental initiatives, fostering international influence while honoring the world-renowned natural heritage of Ha Long Bay.
The event is expected to attract both domestic and international tourists, particularly high-end visitors.

The festival will feature over 20 activities running from now until June 2025, primarily in Ha Long City. Key events include an exhibition showcasing paintings and photographs by Vietnamese and international artists, an art auction to raise funds for environmental conservation and heritage preservation, and the "University Activation" campaign to promote environmental awareness among students.
Additional activities will include panel discussions on the Art for Climate initiative and environmental responsibility, a competition for inventing waste recycling tools and machinery, a scientific conference on global climate change, the 2025 Quang Ninh Investment Promotion Conference, beach cleanups, a "Billionaire Garden" tree-planting project, and a recycling-for-rewards program.
