(TITC) - In a document released by the Government Office on September 10, Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam informed that the Prime Minister has agreed with proposal of Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism on the pilot plan to welcome international visitors to Phu Quoc, Kien Giang.

Previously, Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, on July 30, submitted a proposal on the pilot plan to welcome international visitors to Phu Quoc to the PM - an attempt to implement the direction of the Politburo and the PM.
The Deputy PM assigned Kien Giang Provincial People's Committee to coordinate with Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and relevant bodies to develop detailed pilot plans and implement at an appropriate time, ensuring feasibility, meeting requirements for COVID-19 prevention, security, social safety and minimizing potential risks during the implementation.
Ministry of Health is assigned to coordinate with Ministry of Information and Communications, Ministry of Public Security and Ministry of Foreign Affairs to provide guidance on vaccination certificate; prioritize vaccine allocation for Phu Quoc.
Ministries of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Health, Public Security, National Defense, Foreign Affairs, Transport, Information and Communication and related agencies have the responsibility of guiding and supporting Kien Giang Provincial People's Committee to implement the pilot plan.
