According to Simon Calder, April is an ideal time to visit Vietnam. The climate is fresh, mainly dry and not too hot. The friendly, welcoming people of Vietnam is also one of the biggest attractive features of the country. With alluring scenery and deep culture provides many experiences for visitors to enjoy.

His top-to-toe highlights start in Ha Noi, the capital city of Vietnam, where tradition, ancient and contemplative elements are well blended with modern and vibrant livelihood. Ha Noi, according to Simon Calder, is a serene city, full of lakes and parks. Visitors to Ha Noi may spend time walking around, exploring the markets and devouring delicious street food. From Ha Noi, visitors can pay a visit to Hai Phong City and take a boat trip from the nearby port to Ha Long Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage Site with islands and islets of hulking limestone in various shapes hidden among the jade blue sea.

Heading to the South by train to admire the entire beautiful scenes. Hue is the best stop in between journeys to the South, is a relaxed central Vietnam city filled with temples, pagodas and monasteries. Not far away from Hue, Hoi An Ancient Town, owns its well-preserved ancient architecture. Complex of Hue Monuments and Hoi An Ancient Town are recognised by UNESCO as World Cultural Heritage.

Ho Chi Minh City, the nation’s energetic commercial hub. Visitors can dig into its historical values at the War Remnants Museum and Cu Chi Tunnels.

Spending one to two days travelling to Vung Tau City (100 km southeast from Ho Chi Minh City) to relax by the beach and soak in warm sunshine.
