Accordingly, the implementation of the works "Map of Vietnam" and "Dong Son bronze drum" with giang toothpicks aims to give everyone an opportunity to participate in a community and volunteer project. This is also the opportunity for generations to review the tradition and heroic history of the nation. The works are expected to attract the participation of 10,000 people regardless of religion, age, or gender, etc.

At the launch of the first phase in Ho Chi Minh City, the work had attracted the participation of 300 people, who are leaders of departments and branches, as well as young people, etc. In Hue, Hoang Tuan Long expected to bring the work to two to three revenues, where visitors and students... can participate in the making process of the work. Then, this map will be moved to the capital of Hanoi for the next stages, and is expected to complete on the occasion of the National Day September 2, 2023.

After that, the finished work will be sent to the Vietnam Records Organization (VietKings) and the World Records Union (WorldKings) to set national and world records. The work “Map of Vietnam”, made by the BOARC art form, will be auctioned and donated to orphans.

The "Map of Vietnam" is a special artwork in the “Soul of Vietnam” collection, with the message: Connection - Pride - Love. The work consists of two parts, including the Map of Vietnam and the Dong Son bronze drum, which are about 1.8m x 2.8m in size, and made from more than 100,000 giang toothpicks.

Before that, he had carried out a survey and a field trip in the Imperial Citadel to calculate the appropriate ratio for the Hue Noon Gate project.

The Architect Hoang Tuan Long is the creator of the BOARC art, based on the combination of laser technology and the traditional giang toothpicks. The BOARC has participated in exhibitions in many places around the world such as the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and Singapore, etc. Currently, the Ripley’s Believe it or Not Museum (the US) is displaying two works of the Capitol and the White House made from giang toothpicks.
