Organizing Ha Noi Cuisine Space on the late of September

TITC) – Ha Noi People's Committee will organize space to introduce Ha Noi cuisine at Ha Noi Children's Palace (36-38 Ly Thai To Str., Hoan Kiem District, Ha Noi) from 29th September to 1st October 2023 under the theme “Essence of Vietnamese Cuisine”.

“Ha Noi Cuisine Space” is held in order to promote culinary value as a unique tourism product of Ha Noi Capital to the people, domestic and international tourists.

At the event, artists and culinary villages of Ha Noi and Vietnam in general will introduce culinary products, traditional and modern craft villages. Visitors have the opportunity to enjoy food and experience Vietnamese culinary culture.

Ha Noi cuisine and the culinary quintessence of Vietnam have been handed down and promoted through thousands of years of history. In addition to its own values, Ha Noi cuisine also has the convergence of regional cuisine, receiving the quintessence of world famous cuisines.

“Ha Noi Cuisine Space” has culinary spaces, mini scenes and side activities.

Accordingly, Ha Noi culinary space – Ha Noi traditional cuisine will recreate traditional Ha Noi dishes such as Bun thang (rice noodle soup with chicken, fried egg, laksa leaves), Cha ca La Vong (grilled fish), cold snail noodle, Phu Thuong sticky rice, O mai (salted dried fruit), Vietnam bread and especially Ha Noi’s Pho. Visitors can experience the process of making "rice noodle", one of the ingredients to make typical dishes of noodle and pho.

The space introduces craft villages such as wine of Ngau village (Thanh Tri District), stir-fried rice noodle with can (water celery) vegetable (Dong Anh District), Cu Da soya sauce (Thanh Oai District), soya sauce from Duong Lam ancient village (Son Tay Town)…

Besides, there are stalls of Vietnamese regional cuisine and international cuisine, drinks and snacks on mobile booths.

The space to promote Michelin-winning culinary establishments like Tam Vi, Gia, Au Trieu’s Pho, Nguyet’s Chicken Pho, Cha Ca Thang Long, Bib Gourmand…

Booth introduces “Essence of Vietnamese Spices” of different regions including Northwest (ginger, Mac Khen, cardamom, cinnamon), Northeast (doi seeds, molasses, lemongrass, anise), Red River Delta regions (guise leaves, Chay (Artocarpus tonkinensis), turmeric). Visitors can put puzzles to make “Vietnamese Spices Map”.

In addition, there are mini scenes of quintessence of Ha Noi cuisine, crystallizing Vietnamese cuisine, walking around the world, full moon festival.

Side activities include seminar, talkshows, flair bartening, mini games, food games for children…

“Ha Noi Cuisine Space” takes place at the same time as the Ha Noi Autumn Festival, in order to stimulate tourism demand and attract domestic and international tourists.
