The Ha Giang Loop (Vietnam) is one of the best road trips in Asia. The remote mountainous region in the North of Vietnam has become a top destination for adventure bike travel enthusiasts, of which the more than 300 km long Ha Giang Loop is one of the most popular destinations favoured by travel lovers. Many tourists say the Ha Giang Loop exceeds expectations, with "surreal" natural landscapes.
The Ha Giang Loop through 4 districts, include Quan Ba, Yen Minh, Dong Van, Meo Vac. The "Golden Road" crosses high passes and deep abysses, requiring professional steering to face endless loop-like curves.

The road winds through steep mountains and has an 7,500m of elevation gain . The scenery here is enchanting. According to SCMP, this is five to eight day trip with both a cultural adventure and a challenging experience.
The best time to experience this route is around September and October. Tourists cycling around can admire the golden rice fields in full bloom in the area. And from February to March is the time when spring flowers bloom.
