(TITC) – On 26 March 2024, Vietnam Railway Corporation, Thua Thien Hue Provincial People's Committee and Da Nang City People's Committee jointly organized the opening of the train from Hue to Da Nang called "Connecting Central Heritage".
In the beginning, the "Connecting Central Heritage" train includes 5 modern air-conditioned, soft seat carriages and 1 community living carriage, promising to be an impressive "mobile" check-in point for passengers.
Every day, Vietnam Railways Corporation organizes pair of trains number HD1/2 and HD3/4 between Hue - Da Nang. From Hue, HD1 departs in Hue at 7:45 am and arrives in Da Nang at 10:35 am; HD3 (Hue: 2:25 pm - Da Nang: 5:40 pm). From Da Nang, HD2 (Da Nang: 7:50 am - Hue: 11:05 am; HD4 (Da Nang: 3:00 pm - Hue: 5:45 pm).
In about nearly 3 hours, the train will take tourists through Hai Van Pass - known as "The most majestic place in the world" to Da Nang with long coastline honored as “one of six most beautiful beaches on the planet”. And in the opposite direction, visitors will set foot in the heritage land of Hue Ancient Capital.
From the train, visitors can admire the majestic natural scenery with one side being the endless Truong Son mountain range and the other side being the immense sea. Departing in the morning and returning in the afternoon, visitors can catch the sunrise and sunset on Lang Co Bay - one of the most beautiful bays in the world.
For tourists' convenience, the Hue and Da Nang stations has automatic bike rentals using QR codes, wifi is expect supplied in April 2024.
